We are delighted to announce that our future at Meggetland has been secured for another 25 years.
This month we signed a new lease with Edinburgh Council that gives us a further 25 years in our Clubhouse at Meggetland. The lease covers our clubhouse building and includes the flat patio area overlooking the stadium.
To support additional spectator capacity for any “high capacity” events at Meggetland Stadium, we have an operational agreement with Edinburgh Leisure that allows access to our patio. We’ve defined High Capacity where an event is anticipated to attract a volume of spectators, in excess of the Main Stand and all
Terrace capacity.
The lease terms reflect that we are a charity, that we have growing commercial interests and that Meggetland has been our home for the last 100 years. It also includes a right for club members and visitors to use the car park.
