ALL GAMES AGAINST STRILING COUNTY HAVE BEEN POSTPONED
Make no bones about it, this is a must win game for our boys.
The pressure will be on, more so on the coaches as preparation has been hampered with the snow. With a good run of form from the team this year, being lead from the front by the likes of Captain Andy Rose and his pack and the return of Muir supremo Malcolm Clapperton in the backline, we can expect some sparks to fly.
1st XV Coach Fergus Pringle commented “This match is important to both teams”. We just hope he understand how important it is for Muir.
Edinburgh have released Sep Visser and Harry Leonard and they both start which means Ali Warnock moves to fullback. Jamie Swanson makes a welcome return from injury at 6 , his presence on the field, strong direct running and experience under pressure gives a good injection of confidence for Muir to use.
Boroughmuir Magic 2s are due to join the 1st XV as they travel to Stirling to face their 2nds. Bad weather and a couple of call offs have not been the best start to the New Year, but Coaches Andy, Neil and the Squad will be very fired up to get back on to the pitch and their campaign for the title back on.
Boroughmuir Bears and Boroughmuir Colts have had their game postponed due to the snow still on the Meggetland pitch.
