Boroughmuir 2nds have had a rough ride of it this season, with so many games called off to weather and teams pulling out, the 2nds were keen to get back to what they do best....Win!
Muir were dominant form through out the game in the forwards controlling the scrums and lineout play. This set the platform for the rest of the team to work off and control the game.
Identifying the breakdown was getting too scrappy, Muir were keen to avoid prolong contact and competition is this area. Stew Mel did not help their own case with a wayward foot coming down on the head of one of the Muir players at the bottom of the ruck. This was picked up by the ref and a red card was issued.
This pretty much closed the game out as Stew Mel were defending for most of the game after that.
