Fergus Pringle, Head Coach at Boroughmuir for the last 4 seasons will be stepping down at the end of the season. Both Fergus and the Boroughmuir Rugby agree that it is the right time for a change.
“I have had a great time at Boroughmuir and have really enjoyed working with the players, who have always given me their full support. I would like to thank the coaching and management team for all the effort they have put in. It has been a tough season, incredibly competitive and we have been on the wrong side of some close results. The coaches and players are still totally focused on finishing strong and winning our last 2 league games.” –Fergus Pringle.
Bill Watson Boroughmuir Chairman commented “Boroughmuir Rugby wishes to thank Fergus for his services to the club firstly as player and then as Head Coach. We wish him and his family all the best for the future.”

He joined Hawick late in 2003, and after six months was offered an Edinburgh contract. At the end of the 2007-2008 season he left Edinburgh and joined Boroughmuir Rugby.
