Boroughmuir S1: 22 v 3 :Dunfermline S1

On a very windy afternoon the S1's were quickly in to their stride, moving the ball wide and gaining good ground. It was not long before they broke the deadlock and eventually ended the first period two tries ahead.

The second period was into the wind and Boroughmuir played the conditions really well. A lot of great passing and support play produced some excellent tries. The Boroughmuir defence was also good today and took a lot of Dunfermline pressure to eventually break our line to score in the final period.

The Dunfermline forwards were very strong in the rucks and controlled the scrums most of the afternoon.

The commitment from both sides was excellent and a lot of really good rugby from everyone was enjoyed by a good crowd at the pitchside.

Boroughmuir S1's were made to work very hard for their win today and the boys put in a very good performance against a good, strong Dunfermline side.
