Boroughmuir played a pre-season against Gala on Saturday with Muir going down 10-38. Head Coach Bruce Aitichison was pleased with the bench mark set and understands what areas the team need to work on going forward.
The referee team of 3 was booked properly for the games on Saturday against Gala. Unpredicted operational changes including kickoff times meant that the planned refereeing of both games was not possible. We are all disappointed that the second XV of both teams did not achieve their practice game.
The Bears are playing a Pre-Season at home on Tuesday Night, 20th August; Kick off at 19:30.
Rugby Forum at Boroughmuir
All members are invited to Thursday’s (22nd August) rugby forum which will be chaired by Bruce Reekie and the Strategy Rugby Group including George Watson and Mike Hall.
The panel will include Head Coach Bruce Aitchison, Captain Andy Rose and Joni Hare who will be there to give their thoughts on the season ahead and answer any questions from members.
We will look to start at 8.30pm
