Boroughmuir Rugby's Captain Andy Rose strives for Rugby World Cup
Andy Rose leaves for Zimbabwe this week in preparation for his nation’s qualification for the Rugby World Cup.
Zimbabwe Rugby will compete against Madagascar, Kenya, and Namibia between the 28th June and 6th July at Madagascar. The winner of this tournament will secure the final qualification place in Pool A which includes Argentina, Tonga, Georgia and the current Rugby World Cup Champions, the All Blacks.
Andy has been pivotal in the revival of Boroughmuir Rugby back into the Scottish Premiership this season and has been in good form competing in a number of 7s tournaments as well.
Zimbabwe Rugby begin their journey on the 28th June against the hosts Madagascar. Followed by Namibia on the 2nd July and finally, Kenya on the 6th July.
