It was a mixed day for Boroughmuir Rugby across the country today.
The 1st XV battled hard but could not overcome the home advantage when playing Hawick. Boroughmuir 1st XV 16 Hawick 36. This leaves Boroughmuir Rugby 9th on the table at the half way section of the season.
The Boroughmuir Magic 2s had a good game away to local rivals Watsonians today. A much better performance, something the coaches will be very happy with. Boroughmuir 2nds 28 Watsonians 10.
The Boroughmuir Bears were in action at home against Lasswade. The Bears named a strong line up and had a number of experienced players on the bench. In windy conditions the Bears won 60-10 over Lasswade 2nd XV.
Our Boroughmuir Colts had an early kick off at home to Mackie. With some excellent off-loading skills during the game, saw our Colts win comfortably 45-12.
