Malcolm Clapeprton has stepped down as Director of Rugby with immediate effect.
The roles of Director's in the club are fulfilled by volunteers and as work and family commitments increase, so does the pressure to give the time to these roles that they deserve.
Chairperson Alastair Hay commented, "Malcolm as we all know is Boroughmuir through and through, and has taken his role in the club very seriously. I'd like to sincerely thank him for his time and commitment over the last three years as a Director."
Clapperton also commented: "Thanks to everyone and I have enjoyed my time working with you all on the board although it has been some difficult times but I am firm in my belief that the future is bright for Boroughmuir if we can engage the community and galvanise a good youth programme to develop young players ready for 1st XV rugby."
Steps to find a replacement Director of Rugby have begun with the role being discussed at Board and the Rugby Stratergy Group level.
